Harvesting a killed Pit Antlion will collapse the pit and reveal the entrance to the tunnels it was guarding. When the target is directly next to the Antlion, they will attack via their normal bite, charged bite, or an area attack from shaking their head back and forth. If inside the pit but not directly next to them, they can throw sand that slows the target down and pulls them deeper into the pit. If the target is near the rim of their pit, they will attack by throwing dead Black Worker Ant corpses at their targets (this attack can be blocked, but offers no collectable Black Ant Parts). Pit Antlions are stationary they will try to make prey slip into their hole but never chase after them. They have a normal bite attack, a charged bite attack, and a burrowing attack, in which they will go underground and pop up beneath the target. Roaming Antlions will aggressively chase after prey and attack by biting. The Antlion has two different variants: a roaming variant and a variant half-burrowed in a pit. The Antlion is an aggressive creature found in abundance, and is the primary and most dangerous insect threat of the Sandbox.
